Third ATR 72-600 delivered to PNG Air

Papua New Guinea’s domestic airline PNG air has taken delivery of a third ATR 72-100.

The 12 year old aircraft registered P2-ATX has been leased from Ireland-based lessor ACIA Aero. It previously saw service with Guardia Indonesia and Citilink.

Commenting on the announcement, Brian Fraser, Chief Executive Officer PNG said,

The ATR72-600 offers proven efficiency, reliability, and capacity, which are essential as we streamline our fleet, improve operational performance, and position the airline for sustainable growth.
