STILL ON: Free champagne at The Ivy for HSBC Premier customers
As it has been six months since we flagged this offer, I thought it was worth mentioning again. You still have five months to try it.
HSBC Premier customers can get a free bottle of champagne when dining at any branch of The Ivy.
This is especially interesting for anyone who is a HSBC Premier customer and has The Platinum Card from American Express, since you can double-up with the £100 Platinum dining credit.
To find the offer, click on the hamburger / toast rack menu option in the top right corner of the HSBC Premier app. Click on the ‘Rewards and benefits’ tile.
You will receive a free bottle of The Ivy house champagne when you book a meal via the link in the app.
The only restrictions are:
- you cannot use the offer on Saturdays
- your table (not each person individually) must order main courses and spend a total of £60
- Ivy Asia sites are not participating
- you must pre-book using the link in the HSBC app – no walk-ins allowed
What isn’t clear is whether this is a one-time offer or if you can use it multiple times.
Reader feedback is that it works with the discounted ‘Heritage Menu’ which offers three courses for £20.95, or £22.95 in central London. If you do this, a couple would need to add a few side dishes to hit the £60 minimum spend for the table.
The offer runs until September 2026 so, if you have already used your Amex Platinum £100 UK dining credit for this half-year, you will be fine to wait until 1st July.
Remember that only selected branches of The Ivy take part in the Amex Platinum £100 dining credit offer, so check the list of participating sites before booking.
