20 Hours & 11,315 Miles: National Airlines Completes Record-Breaking Boeing 777F Flight

National Airlines, a Florida-based cargo and charter carrier, has just completed what is widely reported as the longest commercial cargo flight ever flown by a Boeing 777Freighter. On August 4, the airline flew a 777F nonstop from Scotland to Australia, covering a distance of 9,850 nautical miles (11,315 miles or 18,240 km) over the course of the flight. In total, the aircraft and crew remained airborne for nearly 20 hours on their marathon journey.
