Menzies Aviation Completes $305 Million G2 Secure Staff Integration in Under 12 Months
Menzies Aviation has completed the integration of G2 Secure Staff less than 12 months after acquiring the US aviation services provider in a $305 million deal, creating a combined North American business with a workforce of around 20,000 people.
The integration is the largest in Menzies Aviation’s history and brings more than 12,500 former G2 Secure Staff employees fully into Menzies’ systems, operational processes and brand.
The acquisition, completed in August 2025, doubled Menzies’ footprint in the United States and established the company as the largest independent aviation services provider in the country by number of airports served. The deal also helped increase Menzies’ annual revenue to $3 billion in 2025.
The combined US operation now provides ground handling, air cargo and fuelling services at 108 airports across the country, while the integration has added 70 new partners to Menzies’ US customer base.
Menzies has also expanded its service offering through new contracts covering cabin cleaning and Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) services.
As part of the integration, G2 operations at 85 airports were transferred to the Menzies Aviation brand, including the adoption of Menzies uniforms, ground support equipment, safety and security procedures, as well as IT and HR systems and policies.
The programme has also included the integration of de-icing operations, with standards raised at 25 airports. PRM inspections were introduced, while almost 150 management staff completed risk inductions and a further 440 former G2 trainers underwent formal qualification to meet Menzies’ requirements.
Hassan El-Houry, Chief Executive Officer of Menzies Aviation, said the successful integration comes as the aviation services sector continues to consolidate and airlines and airports increasingly seek suppliers able to provide services at scale across multiple markets.

The integration was led by John Redmond, Executive Vice President Americas, supported by a combined Menzies and G2 leadership team. The focus was on maintaining operational continuity while bringing together the two organisations.
Redmond said completing the programme in less than a year represented a significant achievement for the company.
“The completion of this integration in less than 12 months is a significant accomplishment, not only was it on time but it has resulted in an expanded offering for our customers and new revenue streams,” he said.
“From day one, our priority was to bring together the strengths of both businesses while maintaining our focus on safety, operational excellence and customer service. Today, we are a stronger business, better positioned to support our airline and airport partners as we continue to grow where our customers need us.”
Menzies is now moving into the next phase of its growth strategy in North America, with further changes to its Americas leadership structure.
Earlier this year, Tomeu Mas was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, North America Ground Services, with responsibility for the combined ground services operation across the United States and Canada.
Roger Zebroski, who was previously part of the G2 leadership team and played a key role in the integration, has also been appointed Chief Commercial Officer Americas.
Together with the wider leadership team, the pair will focus on growing the business, developing customer relationships and expanding Menzies Aviation’s service offering across the Americas.
The completion of the G2 integration marks a significant expansion of Menzies Aviation’s presence in the US market, giving the company a larger operational footprint and a broader range of services as airlines and airports increasingly look to consolidate their aviation services requirements with major providers.
