The Engineers’ Debate: Why The Airbus A330neo & Boeing 787-9 Have 5 Key Wing Differences

The Airbus A330neo and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner have become important parts of many airlines’ long-haul strategies. Both aircraft are popular with operators and passengers, and they compete for many of the same routes. Boeing launched the 787 Dreamliner program, which includes the 787-8, 787-9, and 787-10 variants, in the early 2000s. The 787-9 entered commercial service with Air New Zealand in 2014. The aircraft and the 787 program in general quickly attracted interest from airlines and gave Boeing a strong new competitor in the long-haul market.
